Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between basic consent mode and advanced mode?
Basic mode — Google tags load only after the visitor has given consent. No data is sent to Google before this choice is made.
Advanced mode — Tags load as soon as the visitor arrives on the site. If consent is denied, anonymous signals are sent to Google to feed its conversion modeling, which improves the accuracy of your Analytics and Ads reports.
